An Ideal First Date Would Be
Meeting somewhere neutral for both of us (where we are both at ease), whether we eat together, or just drink a beer/wine and talk; then, go to a movie that we could both enjoy (or some other entertainment that we could agree upon--doesn't really matter what it is--going to the park and canoeing, or taking a hike together would be fine too, depending on the weather). Important thing is that we can spend some time getting to know each other. Perhaps the first date shouldn't be a whole day, just in case it doesn't go well. It's rare that I don't enjoy another person, but a first date shouldn't drag on if either of us are "nervous". Let's face it, those first encounters can be a bit nerve-racking. But, honestly, I've learned not to get too rattled. I hope we can both relax and enjoy a new friendship, at least. If we hit it off, we will decide together where this date will go, and a future date, or whatever?
I've Always Wanted To Try
Skydiving. I'm not an extreme sports guy in general, in that bungy jumping is not my style (I just don't trust the bungy cords or the people who set them up). Why I trust a parachute, I'm not sure, except that I know you are supposed to pack your own? Hmmm, does this mean I trust myself? Anyway, I would also like to try driving a race car at a track at high speed. I mean, again, if I had a car capable of doing that (that I could trust the car), I would like to see how fast I would be comfortable driving. I usually don't drive my own car that fast because I don't trust the tires to keep from blowing, or the road (or the other drivers, or that there isn't a cop just ahead, hehehe).

My Goal In Life Is
to love, to be loved, and to use that love to make a small dent in the world's injustices. I say "small" dent because I know it takes so many of us to really impact the injustices in the world. But to make a dent, that might not even be visible (and probably won't be) to the rest of the world, means at least affecting the life or lives of one or more of my friends in Honduras, Romania and right here in the United States. Am I a hero? Nope. None of us are heroes, in the end. Or, all of can be? One thing comes to mind that has been bothering me. Bio-fuels--when I first heard about these, I thought, "great, someone is really using their minds for the greater good, and it will be better for the environment . . . " but the more I thought about it, I thought, what about all the people that could be fed with those grains? If we really have that much grain that we can afford to make fuel out of it, why are there so many people starving in other parts of the world?

Perhaps I over-simpl

Looking for

What Do You Find Attractive?
Good Looks, Humor, Great Skills, Empathy, Sensitivity, Spontaneity, Power, Thoughtfullness
What Do You Look For?
I love a great body, of course, but beyond that, someone who cares about other people, and is not just arrogant, really means a lot to me. It's not that I don't like confidence--I love someone with confidence, but that doesn't mean that you are confident about all of life, it just means that you are confident enough about yourself that you don't mind if someone else pokes fun at you (you don't take yourself so seriously that you cannot also laugh at yourself). By the way, if I haven't already indicated it here, a sense of humor wouldn't hurt. I love to laugh, and I hope you do too. If you measure masculinity by a man's Sports IQ, look elsewhere. If you love sports, but that doesn't mean your friends/partner have to share your interest, that's great. I hope you have other interests as well. I like to exercise, but would love to be with someone who is motivated so that I am inspired by him.
